For the optional cinnamon-sugar rim, mix half a teaspoon each of brown sugar and ground cinnamon on a small plate. Run a lemon wedge around your glass rim, then dip it in the mixture to coat evenly.
Add 3 oz apple cider, 1 oz orange juice, 1 oz lemon juice, maple syrup (if using), and ¼ teaspoon apple cider vinegar to a shaker with ice. Close tightly and shake for about 15 seconds until cold.
Fill your glass with fresh ice and strain the mixture into it, leaving some room at the top.
