Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cucumber juice about ½ medium cucumber, juiced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of choice optional - honey, agave, monk fruit, or stevia
  • cup lime or regular soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish options: Cucumber flower tutorial below, edible flowers, lemon wheel, fresh dill sprig

Instructions

  • First, prepare your cucumber juice by grating half a cucumber and squeezing it through a fine-mesh strainer until you collect ¼ cup of juice. You can save the leftover pulp for smoothies or face masks.
  • Next, place your fresh dill, lemon juice, and sweetener (if using) in your cocktail shaker or mason jar and gently muddle for about 20-30 seconds to release all the aromatic oils from the dill.
  • Add your cucumber juice and 2-3 ice cubes to the shaker, then secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until everything is well-chilled and mixed together.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a glass filled with ice, then top with lime soda water (or regular soda water with an extra squeeze of lime) and stir gently to combine.
  • Finally, add your chosen garnish—whether it's a cucumber flower, dill sprig, or lemon wheel—and enjoy immediately while the drink is perfectly chilled and carbonated.
