Ingredients

For the Base Mocktail:

  • 1 fresh rosemary sprig plus extra for garnish
  • 1 oz 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 oz 6 tablespoons orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • 2 oz 4 tablespoons apple cider or cloudy apple juice
  • ¼ teaspoon apple cider vinegar optional, for complexity

For Finishing:

  • cup kombucha or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: orange slice apple fan, edible flowers

Instructions

  • Place the rosemary sprig and lemon juice in your shaker and gently press the rosemary a few times with a muddler or spoon handle to release its flavors. Don't crush it too hard – just enough to wake up the aromatic oils.
  • Pour in the orange juice, apple cider (or apple juice), and the optional apple cider vinegar for that extra bit of tang. Add a few ice cubes to the shaker, put the lid on securely, and shake everything together for about 10-15 seconds until it's nice and cold.
  • Fill your serving glass with fresh ice and strain the mixture in to keep any rosemary pieces out of your final drink. Top up the glass with kombucha or sparkling water, then give it a quick, gentle stir.
  • Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary and an orange slice if you like. That's it – your homemade rosemary mocktail is ready to enjoy!
